Six countries invited to join BRICS

BRICS leaders have agreed to invite six countries to join the group of emerging economies. The countries are Argentina, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Their membership will take effect on Jan. 1.
