On this episode of the Friends in Beauty podcast I welcome Michelle Ballard to the Friends in Beauty Guest chair. Michelle is the CEO and Co-Founder of Miche Beauty, a premium handmade hair care brand that makes clean, simple, and effective products for all textured hair types.
What started as an exploration of her own natural hair journey on Youtube in 2012 unearthed this Maryland native’s passion for educating other women on how to style and maintain their curls confidently. This passion quickly evolved into a personal mission to transform the beauty industry by redefining the complexities of hair care with simple solutions. After noticing a need for hair products that catered to all naturally curly textures, Michelle united her solution-driven spirit with her chemistry studies and alongside her husband Jonathan Ballard, launched and self-funded Miche Beauty in 2016.
With Michelle at the helm of its vision and product development, Miche Beauty is ushering in a renaissance to the modern natural hair movement with its triple threat approach — championing the universal practice of “Simple Handcrafted Beauty.”
