SDKs stand for software development kits. SDKs are a collection of tools such as libraries, compilers, frameworks, APIs packaged into a simple installable file build for a specific platform or an operating system. For example, an android app will use an android SDK that is .R file, iOS will use a .framework file. They usually come with documentation and sample code and can be created for both client-side and server side usage.
