On midterm election day, we take an in depth look at the life of Civil Rights Advocate, Mrs. Fannie Lou Hamer, an unwitting victim of forced sterilization, and her fight for voting rights in Mississippi and the opposition she overcame to register to vote and present her testimony before the Credentials Committee in 1964.
