Naima shares her journey in music and the importance of access to music education. Growing up in a musical household, Naima was exposed to music from a young age. She started playing the violin in fourth grade and quickly fell in love with the instrument. Naima's passion for music led her to pursue a career in music, and she is now the music director of the Petersburg Symphony Orchestra. She believes that music is a reflection of the times and has the power to bring people together. Naima also discusses the role of a conductor and the importance of creating a sense of community within an ensemble.
