I learned a lot during this episode of The Sustainable Angler talking with American Saltwater Guides Association's Capt. John McMurray and Tony Friedrich. We discuss everything from Magnusson Stevens Act and overfishing to how the American Saltwater Guides Association is moving the needle by affecting fisheries policy by representing anglers who understand that our fish stocks are declining and it will take good policy to protect the resource for future generations. We also discuss how climate change is impacting migratory patterns such as summer flounder and black sea bass and how that affects fish stocks on a state level as far as redistribution goes. Finally we talk a little fishing like catching a bluefin tuna on fly! Hope you enjoy!
