If you were searching around Google for ways to make money online or pick up a side income... you probably got wrapped up into online business somehow. 

Dropshipping, Affiliate Marketing, Selling Courses, you know... all that stuff. 

I've come to realize that one of the biggest problems that I have with any online business venture is trying to find a balance between building an audience, and building a stream of income. 

There are influencers out there that will tell you the best way to go is to provide a lot of free value online and grow a massive audience before you start your business. This is because you will then have a warm audience to promote your products or services to and have higher conversions out of the gate. 

On the flip side, it can be pretty hard to grow this type of a following when you have no real results and nobody cares about who you are. Like seriously, who's going to follow the guy that is trying to grow an Instagram page to support a business when they can just follow someone that has been running a successful business for a decade or so? 

This is a lot like the online entrepreneurship version of "need a job to get a car, but need a car to get the job"
