On today's program, Mike Slater reflects on the 22nd anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks while telling the stories of the "close calls" and the brave men and women who triumphed and fought back on such a horrific day.

Following the monologue, Mike is joined by Retired NYPD Lieutenant Joe Cardinale who talks about his own first-hand experiences from that awful time and how he feels about the event all of these decades later.
