I was stoked that Robert would agree to become a guest on my fledgling podcast. His generous spirit was reflected in his offer of time to help me follow my dream with this podcast, "The Long Island Sound".

It's an old story you hear about musicians who played their hearts out reaching for the stars, however, Robert Miller's story has an inspirational ending whereby he continues to chase his dream, this time with Project Grand Slam and the platform of a podcast.

I'm am inspired by Robert's actions as I have a podcast host/musician to emulate.  Robert and I dive into the bands and British invasion that help inspire him along with his collaborative band of international musicians, Project Grand Slam.

Robert's can-do attitude can be an inspiration to every musician to follow your heart and keep at it.

“THE SHAKESPEARE CONCERT” HIGHLIGHT REEL

In August 2021 Project Grand Slam performed a benefit concert for Shakespeare & Co., a leading Shakespearean acting troupe. Two months later Robert took the band into the recording studio to replicate the concert “live in the studio”. 15 songs played one after another concert style. No overdubs. No fixes. Just the band as-is.
