We all have our bad days.

We get sick, things come up, emergencies happen.

However, in these times is when we can really be tested in life sometimes. Tragic situations are often actually the best and worst things that happen to people because it can really wake them up and help them understand what is going on in the world.

Simon Sinek once said that tragedy will often times push people right into their "why" as opposed to pulling them away from it. That's interesting to think about, if you think about it.

I also heard an amazing quote from James Lawrence on an episode of "The MFCEO Project" the other day, which I allude to in the podcast but here is the actual quote.

"He who knows their why (to live) can bear almost any how."

-James Lawrence

Maybe the most insightful thing I've ever heard.

The point here being, that when things start to spiral out of control in our lives, we always like to start questioning how we're going to get things done. Sometimes it's not even when things start to go wrong. Sometimes we just doubt ourselves.

So think of this the next time that you are faced with a challenge, even if it's one you brought upon yourself, and realize that if you know WHY you are doing it, that you should be able to bear almost any how.

We've all been in situations like this, where we just don't know how we are going to do it.

And if you think back to a time where you got something done... and you have no idea how you really pulled it off... it was probably because it was for the most powerful "why" in your life at the time.
