Bali? Australia? USA? Middle of the ocean? When you work online, YOU get to decide where in the world you want to be. Which means you get to travel while making money!

However - it's not as simple as it sounds. It requires systems, structure, and a strategy. In today's episode of Impact School, I'm sharing that with you.

- There are lots of industries you can get into but before you dive in on anything, make sure you do have the knowledge and have done your research on how you’re going to get things going.

- To list some here are some industries you can get into are: ecommerce, consulting, marketing, web and graphic design.

- Will give you more in control of your schedule

• Work for an online business
  

- If you feel like you’re not yet ready to start your own business, you can check out for online/remote positions on the internet.

- There will be authority here and you have less control of your schedule unless you’re allowed to work on a flexible schedule.

• Downsides and cons
  

- It’s harder to make and stick into a routine, given that you are travelling you need to easily adapt be it if its timezones, the country or city you’re currently in.

- It will not be cheap. You will need to spend a lot of money and invest on yourself and your experiences/travel.

-understand that this is not stable, you have to be aware and have back up plans.

• Laptop (and internet/wifi, of course)
  
• This will be your most important need and would probably be one of the first investments that you will be making.
  
• Systems
  

- to make sure workflow is organized and on the roll even if you’re not online(if you have a team).

- whether it's for your schedule or your teams responsibilities, having a solid system will make your lives easier.

• Team
  

- If you have started a business and it is generating a stable cashflow already, assembling a team would be a great way to help you grow your business further.

-If you’ve just started out and feel burdened hiring a virtual assistant can also be beneficial. So you can focus on the important things and have your VA help you with other areas in your business.

-You need to be with the right people who share the same mindset with you.

Mindset

- The proper mindset, you need to be confident, assertive and outgoing to be able to succeed. Otherwise, you’ll have a hard time making this work for you.

-You have to be able to motivate yourself to always do your best. Negativity would not be helpful and will only cause you anxiety.

• You have to actually show up
  
• Make sure you commit to your schedule, your systems. Most especially if you’re dealing with a role that would need to deal/talk with people (sales) you have to be on time.
  
• For you to be successful,  slacking off isn’t an option. You need to be 100% committed.
