Interview with Kanu Behl, director of Agra, presented at the 76th Festival de Cannes in the Quinzaine des cinéastes.
Crowrã (The Buriti Flower): Through the story of Guru, a sexually frustrated 25-year-old call center operator who still lives with his parents in crowded Agra, Kanu Behl tells us a story of the contested space: or how the emancipation of a young person can only be achieved through access to the property. In the interview Kanu tells us something more about her film, where she took inspiration to tell this story, the importance of the female figures in the film and the difference between our secret and public persona.
