The battle against HIV and AIDS has changed a lot since the virus was first identified in 1983. With the implementation of PrEP, a daily pill that effectively blocks HIV transmission, we’ve seen a decrease in new HIV infections overall, but black young people are still disproportionately the largest group for new HIV infections.

What can we do to make sure that the fight against HIV and AIDS is equitable?
