Do you have hypothyroidism and insulin resistance?
This case study is from my practice and in this video I walk you through a patient who was able to lose 42 pounds over three months using Byetta, Natural desiccated thyroid and T3 containing medication.
The problem with weight loss is that most patients approach it all wrong. They believe that eating less and exercising more will lead to long lasting weight loss and it just isn't true.
Instead patients and Doctors should be focusing on hormone imbalances that lead to weight loss resistance.
The top three most common hormone imbalances that lead to weight loss resistance include:
1. Thyroid resistance
2. Insulin resistance
3. Leptin resistance
Many patients do know that they have hypothyroidism but many miss out that they have both insulin and leptin resistance, and that's why I made this case study.
The unfortunate part is that certain medications like the GLP-1 agonists can help reverse insulin and leptin resistance.
These medications are primarily used for type II diabetes but a subgroup of obese, non diabetic women (with high leptin levels) respond very well to this medication and can lose a significant amount of weight.
In this case study I also show you what it takes in terms of diet, exercise, medications, hormones and supplements to help hypothyroid patients with insulin resistance lose 40 pounds.
