As we become situated in our careers over an increasing period of time, there is a natural tendency to feel ‘we have learned all the answers’ and that we know what to do for practically any given situation. The truth is that life undergoes constant change. As such, even if most of the time our hunches and experiences are still right given these changes, there are surely going to be times when we are, in fact, wrong. Therefore, it is critical that we continually re-evaluate our presumed knowledge to see if there may be new ways to approach solutions we had not considered previously.
