Bree van Durr and Steve Human's journey leads them to the Hearthome of Darkness. From the pitch black depths of Wayward Cave to the discriminatory Pokémon practices of Amity Square, the trainers face tough questions about the kind of champions they want to be. They learn about Team Galactic's scheme, and debate its validity along with the merits of Pokétch Company versus Devon Corp. and Silph Co. Then, they try contests again before throwing away the Fashion Case and taking on Gym Leader Fantina.
