1. The roster is coming into focus. We talk about the decision to roster Lavastida and let Sandy Leon walk. We talk about Steven Kwan or Ernie Clement for the final roster spot. We talk about the projected rotation and the announcement of Shane Bieber as the opening day starter for the third year in a row.
2. We begin our third mock for the 2022 MLB Draft. It is April so what better time than now. We start with the first six picks. Five of the first six players are hitters, and it would be shocking if there was more than one pitcher in the top six selections.
3. We continue on getting to the Cleveland Guardians pick at 16. There are many college catchers and the prep arms also start to fly. The three college catchers of note Kevin Parada, Daniel Susac, and Logan Tanner listen in to see who I project to the Guardians before giving a few names to keep in mind for pick 35 and in the second round.
