His life on Block Island has been steeped in the chodachromtic tones that we're all seeking out here. The good ol' days. The 70's and 80's. The days when Block Island was the kind of place that a school teacher could schlep his family to for the summer. The kind of place where the kids would roller skate around the ferry parking lot with heavy, plywood sandwich boards attached to their little bodies like turtle shells.
