October 27, 2022--Continuing KZYX’s local election coverage, here are excerpts from the Fort Bragg City Council Candidates forum hosted by the League of Women Voters in Fort Bragg on October 14th. There are 9 candidates running for three open four year seats on the Fort Bragg City Council: Incumbents Tess Albin-Smith (write in candidate) and Marcia Rafanan; and challengers: Richard Garcia, Jason Godeke, Mary Rose Kaczorowski, Richard Mohr, Blanca Pena, Michelle Roberts and Scott Taubold. Incumbent Lindy Peters is running unopposed for the one open two-year seat on the council.
