NOW - proFem

Guest: Eva Michálková, project manager for proFem – centrum pro oběti domácího a sexuálního násilí, o.p.s.

Like most European countries, the Czech Republic is pretty humanist. And yet, sexual harassment & violence continue to be problems, with more than 50% of Czech women reporting sexual harassment and/or violence. The organization proFem offers help in a number of ways, including a new infoline, counseling, and even legal help. We talk about the problem here in CZ, some historical context, the evils of Easter and how things are, hopefully, changing for the better.
