The SEC has proposed a custody framework that would let investment advisers and regulated funds hold crypto through state trust companies, opening a 60-day comment period and a possible route away from paper bitcoin. And the IMF has released about $138M to El Salvador, waiving its Bitcoin accumulation condition after the government showed the added coins came from private donations with no public money used.
