IT'S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR: NHL PLAYOFFS!

Thanks for tuning in Washington Capitals fans! The Official Caps Chirp Podcast on The Hockey Podcast Network is back with another incredible episode for you this Monday! We hope you liked our last episode where we discussed the Montreal vs. Washington matchup for the first round. Big thanks to Habs Nightly for coming on and giving us a great preview of the series.

The Capitals started off winning 2 close games in DC but then dropped game 3 in Montreal which was expected. The boys got their act together in Game 4 though with a convincing 3rd period stand that secured them a 5-2 victory. Wednesday they are back in the Nations Capital to play game 5 with only 1 game to win to move onto the next series.

Beyond the exciting Caps first round, there's a ton of other news around the league about the teams who are currently in the playoffs and the teams who didn't make it firing coaches and even general managers.
