In the Diocese of Camden, it is fundraising season again as the House of Chairty - Bishop’s Annual Appeal begins anew this winter. The annual campaign that serves many ministries of the diocese, including various social services, Catholic schools, ministries and vocations in South Jersey, is managed by our good friend of the podcast and Associate Director of Development for the Diocese of Camden, Katie Comerford-Rivera. Joining her on the podcast is one of our favorite fundraising pastors in the diocese, Fr. John Picnic of Christ our Light Parish in Cherry Hill. The two school today’s host, Mike Walsh, on some of the best practices they’ve learned for fundraising over their many years of financial development campaigns. Today’s chat is a great tutorial not just on how to fundraise by also how it marries so perfectly with one of the main tenants of our Catholic faith: charity.
