BEERS: Will took an excursion to Tree House’s Cape Cod location. While the vibe didn’t match the original Tree House, it was definitely an experience to remember. He had Galactic Storm Peach, Very Hazy Mango, and Oreo And Miles To Go Before I Sleep, all with some raving reviews. Jake took it up to Massachusetts, too, and Notch Brewing in Salem was this weekend’s selection. We can’t remember when the last time either of us has had a Dunkel, but Voll Projekt Dunkel Weisse breaks the curse and has some surprisingly good tastes.
BUSINESS: Gary Goldberg was a third-generation textile manufacturer who knew the ins-and-outs of the industry. When he realized that the sports industry was “stuck in the 90’s,” he knew something had to change. Enter SquadLocker - Rhode Island’s #1-ranked startup - disrupting the hyper-local, intensely-fragmented athletic apparel market. Gary discusses the growth of SquadLocker from an apparel manufacturer to a tech leader, raising more than $40 million, and adding former Super Bowl winners & pro athletes to the team. SquadLocker is the official merch partner of House Enterprise. (12:00)
BALLS: Was the Super Bowl boring or good? We discuss our performances at the kiosk, and what wagers paid off. With baseball seemingly at a standstill, all eyes are on college basketball. We break down Juwan Howard’s suspension for hitting Greg Gard in the face. We also discuss the current Big East standings, and with 2 wins to go for the regular season title, Providence is in the driver’s seat after Villanova’s loss to UConn on Tuesday.
MANSCAPED: We’re proud to present Manscaped as our latest partner! What guy wouldn’t want The Right Tools for The Job?! Head over to manscaped.com/house, or use the code HOUSE at checkout for 20% off AND free shipping on your order.
