The Cost of Following Jesus.
Luke 9:57-62.

Jesus tells two parables about foxes and birds and about ploughing in order to explain the cost involved in following him. Jesus does not promise a comfortable and easy life. You can't first live for yourself and your career and your security, and then come follow him. And you can't have divided loyalties. You have to follow him wholeheartedly.
