When the patriarch of a feral woodland family dies, they take a man in the woods captive and transform him to become one of their own.  A very misleading title and opener, Plank Face, gives the audience the idea that a man wearing a wooden face will be going around cutting people up. Instead, it's the idea that a feral incestual family must continue their feral tradition and bloodline by taking a man and transforming his ways and making him into one of their own.
