Ben and Kami discuss creating an environment where our kids can be themselves and not have to hide or leave to adopt new beliefs. We discuss new articles about a 10-year-old climbing El Cap, pot being legalized in Cincinnati, and a woman dying while climbing Mount Washington and answer a question about New York’s new immunization bill.

Create a world at home that is big enough for our kids to bring back the lessons they learn in the outside world.

Too often the lessons our kids learn don’t fit at home. They are forced to go outside of the home to be themselves. To fit in. To feel valued and to engage all their faculties. Returning home becomes an exercise in mask-wearing and playing a part of a static environment. What a shame when an opportunity for an environment to develop and evolve instead gets turned into an opportunity to fortify and exclude.
