1. I am cranky so we start this one off with a rant about bullpen usage. Eli Morgan has a nearly three-run differential between his FIP, fielding independent ERA, vs lefties and righties. He has been largely ineffective against lefties due to his slider just not being an effective pitch. Sending him out to face a series of lefties is nearly as bad as asking Bryan Shaw to give you two innings. Yes, he ran into bad luck, but he also was unable to record a single out when asked to go for two innings. He has been ineffective when asked to go two. 
2. In segment two we switch the focus to the whole games played today which saw the best start of the year for Aaron Civale, Xazvion Curry with a solid debut, and Andres Gimenez continues to show he belongs in any discussion about the best infielders in baseball. We also take some time to continue with some Steven Kwan appreciation.
3. We end with the worst quote of the week, thanks to a former Guardian. Some stats stand out as they pertain to the Guardians. And a classy move by Franmil that Cleveland did not match on his way out. We also dug in and cleared out the mailbag from last week.
