Dr. Rosanne Leipzig (MD & PhD) is the Gerald and May Ellen Ritter Professor and Vice Chair Emeritus for the Brookdale Department of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, NY. She is an internationally recognized leader in Geriatrics and Evidence-Based Medicine and has received numerous awards for her work. Her career of over 40 years has focused on improving the quality and safety of care for older adults as a Board-Certified geriatrician and palliative medicine specialist. Among her many other accomplishments and activities, Dr. Leipzig is the author of HONEST AGING: An Insider's Guide to the Second Half of Life. She also is the editor-in-chief of the monthly newsletter, Focus on Healthy Aging, and co-editor of the fourth edition of Geriatric Medicine.

While providing care for her mother, Frances S. Hall, Founder, and Executive Director of ACAPcommunity began ACAP as a monthly educational support program for fellow faculty and staff on a small NC university campus, then transitioned the program into a nationally unique, community-impact nonprofit model in 2012. With a master’s degree in higher education administration and a 30+-year career in higher education and nonprofits, Frances continues to lead the growing organization as it continues to provide information, resources support, and community for adult children and others who care for older loved ones.
