LAFC Season Pass S02/E14: Galaxy, Seattle & San Jose Recap, Galaxy, Real Salt Lake & Timbers Preview
Halfway through the six-game stretch that is phase one of the Major League Soccer regular reason, Los Angeles Football Club has two ugly losses and one resounding victory. The losses, 2-0 and 3-1 to the Los Angeles Galaxy and Seattle Sounders respectively, marked LAFC's low point of the 2020 season thus far, but the 5-1 victory against San Jose shows that Bob Bradley and company are still capable of contending for the MLS Cup in this disjointed campaign.
The second half of phase one for LAFC begins on Sunday September 6th in Carson with a rematch against the Galaxy. LAFC will then face Real Salt Lake before finishing phase one against the Portland Timbers. This year lacks the dominance LAFC spoiled its fans with in 2019, but all the club needs for a chance to fulfill its goal is a spot in the MLS Cup playoffs. That effort continues against the Galaxy on Sunday.
