Lorelei and Betty have traveled to Italy to assist Amar with exploring the odd underground room in Lucia's vineyard. Dr. Brownleigh Morgan has come as well. Will they find it is a den of mystic iniquity - or is it something even more mysterious?

Meanwhile, in Bristolport, Ray announces his candidacy for Mayor. He's approached by an unsavory character - with unsavory intentions. He's later found dead. Why? Who could have done it? It will take The Jewel to get to the bottom of it.
