You might be a mouth breather without realizing it. To honor May as Mouth Breathing Awareness Month, we’re going to take some time discuss how breathing through your mouth can greatly affect your health. Last week we started discussing this issue and will continue with our series for the whole month.
Mouth-breathing is a habit that can have significant negative effects on your health. It causes you to take deeper breaths, which in turn works out more rapidly than normal and could even lead someone with chronic lung disease and having issues sleeping. The longer this goes unchecked the harder its going be for people who struggle against them because they will never get over how much easier breathing seems when done correctly. I encourage you to practice nose breathing and improve the quality of your life.
