I am blessed to have my first ever actor on this first ever Horrorween Edition of the Music Is Life Podcast - Mr. Carl Crew, aka The Barnum of Burbank Boulevard. Famous among horror aficionados for his role as George Namtut in the horror comedy cult classic "Blood Diner" (1987, Lightning Pictures) and his controversial role as Jeffrey Dahmer in "The Secret Life of Jeffrey Dahmer" (1993; Intervision), he is the owner and proprietor of the California Institute of AbnormalArts in North Hollywood, CA. He is also the host of his most recent venture, "The Fourth Watch Files Podcast," discussing anomalies and enigmas in the world today.
We discuss all of these ventures, and more, including the character Rusty Defage (played by Dino Lee, the King of White Trash), the cast and crew of "Blood Diner," and his experience on the "Maury Povich Show" in 1993. We cover all this and more. However, we ran out of time to discuss the mystery of Shaye Saint John. The invitation for Carl to return is always open, as he was a real pleasure to have on the show.
This episode is dedicated to the memory of Rick Burks (Michael Namtut in Blood Diner; RIP, good sir).
