1. The Cleveland Guardians offense finally came through with a clutch hit from Andres Gimenez with runners on, a big homer by Amed Rosario, which we sort of predicted, and the usual gritty, dirty, what some call disgusting hustle by Jose Ramirez that created the winning runs in the 10th inning, along with a huge hit from Josh Naylor. Cleveland finally got into the Yankee bullpen by forcing Nestor Cortes out early.

2. The Guardians bullpen once again showed its edge over the New York Yankees and Aaron Boone made some odd pitching decisions while the Guardians bullpen dominated led by Trevor Stephan and gusty performance by Emmanuel Clase. Shane Bieber allowed an early homer but was pretty darn good after.
