Make it four victories in season four season openers for Los Angeles Football Club. LAFC welcomed an expansion team to the league with a loss for the second consecutive season opener, beating F.C. Austin 2-0 at Banc of California Stadium in the first match of the club's fourth season.
LAFC opened the season with a clean sheet, but the day wasn't without its challenges. Carlos Vela left with a phantom injury in the first half and 60 minutes into the match, Austin's defense was proving difficult to break down for LAFC.
