After several years buried in books, manuals, patch cables and messing with a DIY synth, JakoJako (real name Sibel Koçer) was playing her first live sets in Berlin, spending every spare cent on Eurorack modules. The trio Emeralds with soaring sounds stylistically indebted to deep German electronic music pioneers. ACTIVE DARK FILAMENT is a Canadian electronic music artist creating textured cinematic compositions, often containing a narrative edge. Like nearly all of Inquiri’s music, there is a distinct element of heartache mixed with hope, elements of drone voice field recording and intense layers of sound to draw in the listener. From The Mouth Of The Sun is on a mission to bring its dynamic breed of electro-acoustic classical music to the masses this year. 'Seabuckthorn' is a guitarist meticulously putting together layers of overdubs, richly textured percussion and brooding reverb-drenched atmospheric sounds, lastly, White Noise From Electronic Toys creating music to calm down your mind during difficult times or to help you relax when you need it.
