Idolatry Leads to Enslavement...Please Read Judges 10:6-16
Every time Israel worshiped the idols of a nation, that nation ended up oppressing them. Aram [North-West), Sidon [North], Ammon and Moab [East], and the Philistines [South]. God dealt with their idolatry by selling them into the hands of their enemies. [10:7]
We see that the Israelites are sorry for the consequences of their sin, but they are not really sorry for the sin. They finally relent so God raised up a deliverer—judge. His name is Jephthah.
