Opioid addiction is a disease that does not discriminate on age, race, or financial status.  On Thursday, we went searching for solutions and talking about the help that is available right here in Erie.  We talked with Jessica Barr, executive director of Pyramid Healthcare Incorporated’s Erie Outpatient Office, to find out their process for helping those who are fighting this battle. Erie County Coroner Lyell Cook brought his perspective--and we heard about the harsh reality of addiction in Erie. Finally, Dr. Mandy Fauble, executive director at Safe Harbor Behavioral Health of UPMC Hamot, came in to our TalkErie.com studios to talk about their process for helping those who battle opioid addiction.
