Your devotion to something is expressed most clearly by your actions. If you’re in Christ, and you’ve been given the righteousness of Jesus, it’s up to you to live that out. This doesn’t mean we need to obtain righteousness by our own effort; because we can’t.

The Christian life requires discipline. We need to take ownership of our own sanctification. We need to discipline ourselves to fight sin and to read God’s word. Believers, our goal for this should be to grow in godliness.
