In Episode 32 we interviewed Yaima Chirino, a Behavioral Health Case Manager and one of my best friends. She has a background in Criminal Justice and Mental Health. Infuse those with a passionate empath walking in her purpose and you have a heartfelt episode. I'm sorry ya, 2 tear jerking episodes in the same month. Between Episode 30 with Susan Kennedy and this week's Episode 32, it may feel like you're cutting onions. (insert sobbing and sniffles effect) But seriously, tonight was quite a representation of our theme Community. Yaima shared her experiences visiting juvenile detention centers, dealing with rebellious young teens and how each child has a real story. One story in particular had the audience and myself included holding back the tears. Yaima displayed her transparency, her passion for kids, her willingness to understand, her commitment to her purpose and her genuine love of impacting her Community. Let's listen in.
