Throughout Scripture we see God's sovereign plan unfold. Even in the difficult times we know that God is not surprised; rather, he is in control and somehow, even the pain is a part of his plan. We also see that man is completely and utterly responsible for our sin. These two truths seem paradoxical, but it is this mystery that makes the sovereignty of God even more glorious. May we praise him for it and trust him today.
