It’s our 200th episode! Traditionally, we prefer to do live shows in front of an audience when we hit a new centennial mark, however this year we had to put a halt to that to comply with pandemic guidelines. So instead, we decided to record a Zoom episode with all of our hosts and a few of our favorite guests from the past year. (Not only are we celebrating 200 episodes but we’re also celebrating a belated one year anniversary to our three co-hosts who started on the show on October 9, 2019).
On this week’s podcast, our quartet of hosts - Mike Walsh, Mary McCusker, Kari Janisse, Marianela Nunez - welcomed onto the show:
Kevin Hickey, Executive Director, Catholic Charities, Diocese of Camden
Donna Ottaviano-Britt, Director, Office of Discipleship & Leadership, Diocese of Camden
Fr. Peter Gallagher, Pontifical North American College
Fr. Joshua Nevitt, Director of Catholic Identity, Holy Spirit High School
Mary Beth Peabody, Communications Manager, Office of Catholic Schools, Diocese of Camden
The nine discussed the evolution of the Talking Catholic show and its expansion into the YouTube universe with several other shows. We also chatted about how all of our guests have transitioned into the on-line universe with great success, as they had to move from in-person to virtual events and communications this year. It’s a great chat this week, very uplifting and provides a lot of tips for those who are looking to make a bigger splash in the on-line world.
This episode is available in both the audio format (everyplace podcasts can be accessed, and in our regular time slots on Domestic Church Radio) but also as a video podcast at youtube.com/talkingcatholic.
