Scott Stringer appears primed to challenge Adams with mayoral run

In a sign the 2025 mayoral race may well be contested, former city Comptroller Scott Stringer told the Daily News he’s raised approximately $425,000 in donations for a potential primary run against Mayor Adams — an amount that could grow to about $2.1 million once matching funds are factored in.
