Someone has stolen thirty pairs of tap shoes from a local dance school. Who would do such a thing? Better yet - why? Will is in the middle of interviewing some very odd candidates for the position as his assistant, but he agrees to take on the case. A case that at the outset seems like a trivial matter turns out to be very serious. And the perfect sidekick is much closer than he realizes.
