The Salem Witch Trials that took place in the late 1600’s feels like an urban legend to some, however the panic and mass hysteria was real. More than 100 people were accused of witchcraft and sorcery, with at least 20 people being executed without any real evidence against them. Unfortunately, these unsubstantiated claims that led to executions were only the beginning of hate crimes that still exist in our world today.
