Episode 64 - Resident Budget Rx: A Prescription from the Frugal Physician

In this episode, Dr. Sara Helvey speaks with Dr. Disha Spath, also known as The Frugal Physician.  Dr. Spath is a board-certified Internal Medicine Physician, educated at the University of Georgia Honors Program, the Medical College of Georgia, and The University of Tennessee-Nashville Internal Medicine residency program. She is the founder and CEO of The Frugal Physician, which has been recognized as a Plutus award nominee for excellence in financial media.

In addition to leading her own initiative, Dr. Spath contributes as a personal finance columnist for Practice Link magazine and has served as a finance contributor to NBC Universal. She is also an ambassador for White Coat Investor.

Her expertise and guidance have been featured in major media outlets such as CNBC and Forbes. Dr. Spath is passionate about helping physicians manage their finances effectively, enabling them to define and pursue their ideal lives.
