People are going to work every single day with some level of fear that they could eventually lose their job, which means that they would lose their income, perhaps insurance, and other benefits that might come with the employment.
This is a big part of the reason that workplace stress is so common now.
That stress is often magnified by poor leaders, working conditions, and heavy workloads.
I'm here to focus on the leadership.
Leaders can really make or break your entire work life, depending on your situation.
And the leaders may not be the people that you think they are.
Your bosses, managers, and other figures of authority aren't necessarily the leaders of your organization.
They could be, but a lot of times the best leaders could also be your co-workers, or even your subordinates.
Leadership is actually about trust, cooperation, and safety.
So if you do not feel SAFE at your job... that could be the first problem....
