In efforts to save up to $22 million, the San Francisco Unified School District will close nearly a dozen schools this year, causing thousands of students to find new classrooms to go to.
The highly anticipated list, released this week, comes after a months long process to shutter schools to address the issue of empty seats spread across the city's school district.
