Wrestling booker extraordinaire John LaRocca returns to the Fight Game Podcast to continue the G1 Climax 28 discussions.
First, they discuss the ROH/NJPW show from Madison Square Garden during WrestleMania weekend called G1 Supercard. Presale tickets went on sale and it's looking like it will be a sellout. The guys talk about whether Cody Rhodes, the Young Bucks, and Kenny Omega would possibly go back to WWE, or continue to do their own thing. John booked Cody while working for APW and gives his thoughts about what he thinks Cody could do.
The fellas then go over nights 13-16 of the G1. They also go over all the scenarios for the A and B block. John is passionate about the night sixteen angle with the Tongans and Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi. GG is also passionate (though not nearly as much) about Kazuchika Okada's match with Minoru Suzuki.
They go over the best matches of the past four nights, including the classic one between Omega and Tomohiro Ishii. They have qualms with it, and do explain.
