Encourage

1. ACCEPT YOUR CHILD'S UNIQUENESS
“God works through different people in different ways…” 1 Cor. 12:6
“Each person should judge his own actions and not compare...” Gal. 6:4
2. TRUST THEM WITH RESPONSIBILITY
“Whoever can be trusted with a little can also be trusted with a lot…” Luke 16:10 & 12
(Jesus) “As the Father has sent Me, so I am sending you.” John 20:21
3. EXPECT THE BEST
“If you love someone … you will always believe in him, and always expect the best of him.” 1 Corinthians 13:7
4. CORRECT WITHOUT CONDEMNING
“The Lord disciplines those He loves...” Hebrews 10:6
“If you refuse to discipline your son, it proves you don’t love him…” Proverbs 13:24
“Correct your children while there is still hope; do not let them destroy themselves.” Proverbs 19:18
HOW?
“Don’t keep on scolding and nagging your children…Rather, bring them up with the loving discipline the Lord...” Ephesians 6:4
“Don’t use harmful words … Use only helpful words…” Ephesians 4:29
5. NEVER GIVE UP ON THEM
“Love knows no limit to its endurance, no end to its trust, no fading of its hope; it can outlast anything.” 1 Corinthians 13:7
